Communicaution is the solo project of Eric Rosenfeld (joined by his friend Charel Stoltz in 2014), the singer/guitarist fronting pop-punk band Versus You.


Being as relentless a live performer as he is passionate about music, Eric has been the driving force behind countless Luxembourg-based bands ever since the late 90ies. But in 2004, Eric figured he still didn't have enough bands to play his many songs, and Communicaution was born.


Some of Communicaution's albums and recording collections are available from Fond of Life, G Chord and Noiseworks. The entire catalogue, including Eric's latest recordings, is also available directly from Eric's bandcamp page.


The five-song-EP Try Harder was originally released digitally on 16 September 2013, and has since been re-released (digitally again) as Try Harder (Plus 3) to include songs from three other EPs.


The cover illustration is full of in-jokes, which will be more or less obvious to Communicaution fans, and probably just as obscure to anyone else. See if you can figure them out for yourself ;)




COMMUNICAUTION - TRY HARDER



Tvesla is an instrumental noise rock band founded in the south of Luxembourg in the early 2000s. The band may be broken up, or simply on hiatus. Arno (drums), Serge (guitar) and Remi (bass) have always kept a rather low profile and, instead, preferred to concentrate all their energy in their songwriting and live performance.


Tvesla have released two EPs (2008, 2010), as well as a split-7" with Eyston (Christopher's Records, 2003) and a split-10" with John McAsskill (Noiseworks, 2005)


You can find a number of their songs on youtube. Finding hard copies of their records these days is a little harder, but a quest well worth the effort.


I created two illustrations for the band (the light bulb and a live scene), one of which came to grace the front cover of their latest effort to date, IV, released by the band in 2010. Sleeve design/layout by Arno Eschenauer.
